Rich black beans are soaked overnight and slow cooked with onions, garlic & seasonings into a thick and rich soup, topped with a sprinkle of red pepper, jalapeno & onion.
Remove lid. Cook on high 1.5 mins. Stir. Cook 1 more min.
IF FROZEN: Heat 2.5 min on Medium power. Stir. Cook 2 mins. more on med-high heat.
MICROWAVE: Remove lid and rest atop dish. Microwave on high 8 mins. Let sit 3 mins. Break frozen bits and stir thoroughly. Heat another 3 mins. For food safety, cook thoroughly to 165° F. Based on 1200 watt appliance.
